Redoble Family

We were planning to bring Khyle to Corona del Mar early Sunday morning. Our plans were all set, Mark canceled his band practice, and we even went to bed early just to make the 8am curtain call (“early” being before 5am. heh).

At 10am on Sunday, I stirred from a deep sleep to check my alarm clock. Not surprisingly, we slept through the alarm. Surprisingly, however, I had no single missed call in either one of my phones. The plan was for Clyde/She^ to call me at 7am. Neither Cadungog called. So, I hastily dialed Clyde. No response. I then tried Herschel’s phone. A groggy voice answered. Apparently, they slept through our curtain call as well. So, we made other plans.

Come afternoon, Mark and I bought lechon manok and headed over to Labangon. Clyde and Xyzha cooked some pasta. Of course, I again cheated on my low carb diet to sneak a few bites of spaghetti.

Then, we goofed around, having senseless fun while posing for Mark (a.k.a. maniniyot), playing with Khyle (who, by the way, recently learned to ride his bike without the training wheels! yey, Khyle), and (as these gatherings often go) teasing Xyzha. So, there we were, Mommy and Daddy’s three daughters and their bugoy men (Khyle included), on one typical Sunday afternoon…
