bwahahaha … it is his son who has been keen on developing the resort … have to check out pa which one and where? … They have another one in bataan, near the rogationist parish … niwe, am preparing myself kay adtong sa poinatubo mi, grabe: mind over body. pagkalisod na jud i step ang tiil sa kakapoy ug cramps pa sa abdomen … Pulag will be very hard as it is an eigh hour climb … pero we will not be passing by the “killer trail”, zigzag and ravines et all … sa wide trail mi agi … i hope … good that you were in vietnam pero dili “coed” ang rogationists ha. bwahahaha

i told fr john of my plans, but he did not react….. siguro he has other plans. i will call him tonight. mountain climbing even if it will be very far and tiring will be ok as long as there is NO SUN. will highly appreciate walking in the rain.
you know when i visited fr joma in dalat last year, there were rainy days and we all had so much fun going around walking and riding the bikes with the rain —- we did these together with your Rogationist Sisters, bro king, and others.
make sure you are physically prepared for the trip —- jogging and exercise weeks before the date. can you ask your friend mommy miring santiago if it is possible to visit her. am already booked at batanes lodge resort, but will be nice to know some locals there.
i will surely capture the scenes with my cam—- hope i will do justice to the beauty of batanes

bwahahaha … john will be on vacation in Laoag city by then … just for info … hahaha … batanes is good, daw?, mommy miring santiago, a benefactor since 1980, has developed a resort out there unya sige lang ug invite … kulang na lang ipakuha ko ug helicopter … bwahahaha … pero no time for that talaga … niwe, mount pulag on april 27 is opprtune time kay cancelled man ang among rogationist assembly for april 27 to 30, 2009. Mao nga mag mountain climbing na lang mi, uban sad si Fr. Bruno namo, ug makidnap mi … bwahaha … purdoy ang mokidnap kay kusog ra ba mangaon ang mga pari … bwahaha … bitaw, it will be hard for you kay 8 hour walk up the summit man pod, besides sa init, pero up there is always raining …

no i willbe with fellow doctors from cebu…. all girls. initially planned to visit batanes with fr john , hatched that plan 2 years ago pa. what do you expect from you guys ….. sige man mo busy. i told him i will go ahead. i booked myself and the others followed. this is the usual pinoy style … you plan and invite others and they will say yes and when the day comes for buying tickets, they proscrastinate. so i booked and bought my tickets. when they saw i really really meant in going there even alone —- they all moved mountains to join me . hahahha , since they booked later , actually a matter of 2 days , their tickets were a thousand more expensive. i think the adventurous, daring Redoble streak in me knows no bounds. alam mo i went to Ubud Bali Indonesia for 5 days — all alone. actually i really thought i will go home a dead body when i was caught up in the middle of Monkey forest with 2 dozen monkeys fighting and i was alone in the midst of the forest!!!! i called all the saints and angels in heaven —- never prayed that hard —– i do not want to die in the hands of monkeys —PLEASE — i want a dignified exit!!

btw, mountain climbing is not that enticing yo me —– i do not like the sun so much — it adds wrinkles. sorry am just that vain.

well, kuya jok…. wondering if this is a blend of western and oriental medicine. thank you for the post. i will be in manila on april 19 to 22, then april 22 i will hie off to batanes for 5 days break. will be back to manila enroute for cebu on april 27. hope we can find time to bond this april. be well.
