On the 21st of November, 14:10 hours (Madrid Time), the inevitable happened. The 1st son of the 1oth son finally came out and saw the light for the first time. It was a very exciting moment, for almost 30minutes, I was with my wife giving her the support she needed while trying to push the baby out of her womb…then came out he did, a healthy baby boy, mura ug naglagot kay nagkunot ang kilay bwahahahahaha. For 9 months or so, we waited patiently and religiously visited the doctor for a monthly medical checkup to make sure the baby and the mother is in perfect condition. And now, a new life has begun. They say that everytime a new baby is born, so does a new Mother and a new Father. For me and my wife, we are up to a new beginning, a new journey. But, its not something new to us, its not something we should be afraid of..thanks to our families, thanks to the values we got from our parents and thanks to the close relationship we have with our siblings. As many always said, things will never be the same when you have a child…indeed its no longer the same. For a starter, you have to wake up every 3 hours to feed the baby and worst you have to wake up every hour to sing a lullaby to the baby to put him back to sleep before the neighbours starts waking up in the middle of the night.
The biggest question now is…will he grow up to be a good person? will he be respectful to everyone at anytime? will he be good in whatever endeavour he will go through in his life? We will never know…but we can only make sure that he be brought up using the same family values and respect both my wife and my parents have instilled on us when we were growing up.
The Proud Dads and Moms. A friend of ours (Gary and Chelo) also had a healthy baby boy named Ian, on the same day when BQ was born, 1 hour apart. The pics above was taken 2 days before the unexpected delivery date of both babies.

We watched “Ako Si Ninoy!” stage play last night. You should watched it too if ever you will have an opportunity.
It’s fun, sad, entertaining, educational, and inspiring! It could squeeze your heart out of indignation, wet your eyes for guilt and pity, and stretch your lungs in laughter! The characters, the talents, the storyline, and the juxta position of events were just perfect.
