Redoble Family

Early afternoon today, a friend requested me to bless their new office.  It was an old house somewhere in Makati.  A very beautiful place for a home or for an office, supposedly a catering business.  Entering upon the house, I felt a certain lightness and inner joy, there is something positive in the house.  Opps, before you guys will speak about superstitions or feng sui or whatever, I say that, whether it is a gift or an impression, I always feel the positive or negative frequencies in a locality.  I went from room to room and sprinkle the holy water after the recitation of the prayers.  Before leaving, I told the couple ( I also officiated their wedding years ago) how blessed they are for the locality.  Even if the rent will be high (I didn’t know how much though), the place is worth it.  The place is good for business.  The wife could not hide the excitement and said, “Really, father?  The owner of the house said the same; and the former tenants were also lucky in their business here.”  Just coincidence?  I really don’t know.

Months ago, I was also called by them as they felt a strange phenomenon in their paternal house.  They asked me to bless the house.  I went their, too.  It is an ancestral house, filled with antique cabinets, hard wood and a beautiful wooden altar.  The house was dark though, with little sunlight seeping through ornate windows.  We prayed and then went around to sprinkle the Holy Water.  Everything was alright except one room.  I didn’t say anything though and prayed the “I believe..”(Credo) while sprinkling the holy water.  It was there that the strange things happen: showers opening and closing with no one in the bathroom, doors opening and locking, lastly, “someone like” entering the room and going straight to the bathroom while their father was lying on bed.  Thinking “it” was his son, he did not mind it.  After 30 minutes, the son came in and there he was scared because the shower was running and no one in there .  Funny, but I felt heavy in that room.  Without saying anything, I concluded the prayers and after, I spoke about impresisons and the need to remove such by opening more windows and let the light of the sun seep into the rooms (the windows in that room was darkened by manila paper since a construction was on going right next the fence).  A well lighted home will always be a good place to live in.  They did just what I have said, and they were at peace again with no disturbance.

This afternoon, my friend reminded me of their old house and that the phenomenons stopped.  But, and this is the gist, the construction workers working on the other side of the fence, requested lights on during the night as they begin to be experiencing strange things at night.  The saw three forms lurking at them while they sleep.  They told about quitting their work as they are afraid of these.  Now, my friends believe that really there was something in their old house and that the house blessing saved them from further problems.  Call it coincidence, but they are really careful in following my suggestions so that those three “vagus spirits” will not go back to their house.

Is there  truth in here or are they just impressions?  I really can not say yes or no.  But it is also true that there are sites good for businesses or for buildings very positive for  a home.  Here in Greater Manila Area, I see many buildings which are very positive for offices and businesses; and there are a lot very hard or difficult or negative for businesses or offices.  Even houses or apartments, there are good for living; while there are a lot which contributes to the difficult situations of the family, no peace, hard life, always bickering, etc.

Can  blessings help correct a negative situation?  I believe it is God who can right everything.  When we invite Him to be with us in a locality (and this is the meaning of the Blessings), there should be great changes in us and in the locality we live or work.  It is not by chance; it is by Faith and how we respond to it that makes a difference.
