This month, two amazing mothers celebrated their birthdays: Ta Yang, the cool and hip mom; and Mommy Tess, the maternal archetype. Both women raised their daughters (and in both cases, their nieces, too) in distinctly different ways. To enumerate those differences would be to oversimplify their individual personalities.
